I convinced myself that caring was a sin
Shutting myself out from the cruel world
I vowed to be the unknown girl
Now here i am once again

Known to the world and commiting a sin
Everything i promised to never do now gives me a natural high
Once again allowing myself to get lost in someone's eyes
Releasing a mental heat causing the ice around my heart to melt
Giving it permission to explore feelings it's never felt

Allowing a smile with meaning to spread across my face
Letting my mind drift away to a far off place
Making myself vunerable to be swept right off my feet
Craving you like a child would crave sweets
Wanting you in ways i can't even believe
Taking a breath then forgetting to breathe

Needing you in ways my body never fails to comprehend
Thinking about you for hours that never seem to end
Never sleeping the same again
And to think we're only supposed to be friends [comments] => 4 [counter] => 279 [topic] => 33 [informant] => SimplyMe [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SecretLove )

Over infatuation, step back and view the whole picture. Then step back again and view it as if it were 10 years into the future. Then clear your mind and make a good decision. Your poem was ok. regards Wes...

Hmmm... I think that love is one things that should never be compromised with... does he know how you feel?
You should tell him.

We learn, through mistakes, through the pain we go through. Though it's cliche, it does make a person stronger.

Great write,
good luck.
*hugs* Phil xxx

Oh man...I wasn't expecting that ending at all. The best love stems from a great friendship, but there's a risk in possibly ruining the friendship. This is such a sincere write, and I truly enjoyed it. Five stars from me.

Does he know how you feel? Maybe a few subtle clues would not go a miss. If he rejects them then at least your friendship will stay true.

Fabulous poem

Good luck

Love Angelxxxx
