Can you see the pain?
It's starting to show through,
the smiles are fading,
along with the happy-go-lucky-spirit
the pain is getting to strong to handle
it can't hide behind the smiles anymore
I need you there, but you're not.
To me it seems like you don't care at all,
so it wouldn't matter if I told you or not,
You are always correcting me,
or almost ignoring me,
you mean a lot to me,
but obviously I don't to you.
I should probably get used to this pain...
shouldn't I?
It's not like you are going to come running to my side,
to be there for me.
I need you now, but you probably don't need me.
I will always be there for you,
but the question is....
Do you WANT me there?

great poem I loved the bluntness and
honesty in this. You don't need to get used to
the pain though. By the sounds of this it
seems like you are getting hurt by someone
and if you are then you should walk away no
one needs to or deserves to get hurt. I hope
everything works out.

i know just how you feel
but in this case i think its our fault
when people cant see our pain
even when we cry
i know i hide it well
i dont even scar or bruese |
