A little deeper each time....

Its silver shines in the moonlight
Its blade reflects the hopelessness in my face
Its handle, I know well
It has been my only friend for some time now
At night is when i feel its anger
I feel it slide through my skin, blood, and veins
For a moment serene
Until the pain
Until the realization of what Ive done comes through
Thoughts rush around in my mind
A little deeper each time....

Sadly, something many people can relate to, myself being one..with no one to trust, no one to..confide in, the knife reaches out to the lonely soul, with comfort, and for a while..everything is okie..then you realize what youve resorted to, how off track things have gotten...great write..I can really relate to it, as others can as well..keep up the good work..
