Its a mixature of the Old and NEWS

The NEWS ain't what it should be
But we still contiune to read
wishing something different
might make it between the lines.

We need some Heros
We need someone Strong and Bright
Post an Ad in the paper to read instead:
"Heros Wanted And they've got to be found "

The Papers and Streets are filled with kids killing each other
We all read about Stolen Cars and House Break ins on the increase
Lord Only Knows We Need some Peace
We need a Hero and we need one fast
Loyal and Strong and Right

The Adults are Chocking the Kids with their
Poison Ideas and War Thoughts
And the X generation knows Nothing but Fight
For Survial and their Own Space
Can you Look to your neigbour ?
"Why does he carry a gun?"
" Can he fight?"

We'll use BOLD LETTERS
"We need some Hometown Hero's
Just to help our Police Officers Out
Hometown Hero's that are Loyal, and Bright
and Always Know the Right thing to do .
