Nobody knows it, it has no name.
She stands there all alone,
Though she's lit, she's chilled to the bone.
She flails with the wind, dancing in the dark,
In the vast blackness she's just a single spark.
She stands alone, a single flame,
Her wild fire no man can tame.
Her fire burns but her wax begins to melt,
For each drop represents a tear she's felt.
The fire is gone, the light shines dim,
Though her flame still burns within.
Standing alone still, with no more flame,
Even though its all the same.
The remaining smoke starts to rise,
But blown away by deceit and lies.
The remains are still hot, the wax still singes,
The pain still hurts, my heart still cringes.
Once upon a time there was a lone flame,
For nobody knew her, she had no name.
