You want to throw it all away
Like there is no tomorrow
And just end your life because of pain
And all of your pent of sorrow

You have the chance to live
When others never did
You have so much more to give
Even if you're just a kid

But you only see what you want to see
You never see the good in anything
You're too blinded by your misery
And you want to give it all up for nothing

Under your sleeves you hide the scars
That were caused to release pain
But now they're tearing you apart
Causing you pain that doesn't go away

It was your choice to make
And I think it's a shame
That you threw it all away

Very good write Jennifer. There is not a promise of tomorrow, but then again, there is no definate word that today is our last. Tomorrow may be the best day of our lives.

Keep Smiling,

The Voice

Wow, I have so many suicidal people in my life that this poem just REALLY reaches out to me. I'm having such an awful night that I could relate to some of these words, but this poem has made me feel a lot better. Excellant poem.

Hun, I agree with this, I really do.
I seriously hope who ever you are talking about pulls through.
Great write hun, your feelings show through well, the flow is good too. I wouldn't change anything.

*hugs* Phil xxx
