For me I guess it was because any attention I got from her I enjoyed whether it was good or bad so I held through until I got entirely fed up with her.... [bodytext] => The rings around your fingers
leave a lasting stain on my face
The blood smeared so evenly
The pain I can't erase
So sharp the tickling feeling
Of the trickling blood that's streaming
Like a painter painting red
On the canvas of their life
The fights between us grow fonder
I can't place the how and why
I just know I'm getting battered
I just know I can't comply
With the lasting impressions
Caused by endless successions
The cycle will always run dry
Love me so harshly
It's the only way you love
Kill me so abruptly
Rip the feathers from a dove
Drown me in my misery
For not ever letting go
It's just so hard to let go
When I love the love you show

Felt the need to be with them no matter what they said or done because at least the attention they were giving you was at least attention and it felt as tho it was love in some justifiable parts of our minds....yes...one time to many i have been here...the sad thing is it drains our souls so slowly that we don't even notice it..until it's to late...or until we have no feeling left inside...this brought tears to my eyes when i read it....you know i can relate to your poetry very well.....it always hits home with me...my heart beats on as so does yours...
