His fire burns, how can that be?
Still he shines with brighter blazing
and stands so tall among his peers

Head held high, he walks so proudly
not proud enough to hide his scars
They point and laugh while he passes
He never says a word to them

Adventure waits around his corner
He’ll leave this town of heartless stone
He won’t forget those that loved him
And dream about them late at night

Arriving where his feet have led him
He looks around his new found land
Such life and promise lay before him
Death and horror they behind

Now his fate will meet his future
