[bodytext] => REDEMPTION IS WERE I'M AT IN MY LIFE STUDY THIS WORD AND YOU WILL KNOW MY SOUL WASN'T RIGHT I'VE DONE THINGS PEOPLE DIDN'T HAVE THE HEART TO DO MY LOYALTY WAS DIFFERENT BUT NEVER DOUBTED TO BE TRUE I'D PUT IN WORK OUT ON THE STREETS MY FAMILY WORRIED ABOUT ME BUT I DID IT SO I COULD EAT SO I'D HAVE ENERGY TO KEEP ME FROM DEFEAT BORN TO BE A FIGHTER I EARNED MY RESPECT SO WHEN I ENDED UP IN PRISON IT WAS ALREADY TO EXPECT WOMEN WERE AROUND BUT THEY HAD TO EARN THEIR KEEP THEY WERE LUCKY THIS THUG HAD A HEART CAUSE I NEVER ASKED FOR ANYTHING WHEN THEY NEEDED A PLACE TO SLEEP DEATH CAME TO ME AS NO SURPRISE BUT WHEN HE STOLE MY BROTHER REVENGE BLEAD FROM MY EYES I WALKED THE HOOD WITHOUT FEAR CAUSE I WAS BULIT HOOD PEOPLE WISHED ME DEAD BUT THEIR TRIGGERS NEVER COULD GOD ONCE TOLD ME TO ACCEPT JESUS AND HE'LL FORGET MY PAST MY QUSETION TO HIM WAS WHEN I DO HOW LONG WILL IT LAST REDEMPTION MEANS TO COME CLEAN OR TO MAKE RIGHT ONCE I PUT IT INTO PRATICE I WAS ABLE TO SLEEP AT NIGHT IF YOU WOULD OF KNOWN ME BACK IN THOSE DAYS YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE THE THINGS I USE TO SAY TO KNOW ME IS TO LOVE ME SO I TAKE IT DAY BY DAY REDEMPTION IS WHAT MADE ME RIGHT REPENTINCE IS SO I CAN SLEEP AT NIGHT [comments] => 5 [counter] => 194 [topic] => 65 [informant] => THUGGIN4REAL [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 2 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => toughstuff )
