[bodytext] => Beam, of light illuminates the surroundings. Pinkish glow casts reddish shadows on hardwood floor, spotlight paints a lazy eight, searching, hunting for an image. Shall we dance? I take a hand, and the rest of the body follows closely, follows me in the steps, I hold on tightly, bathed in pink glow, I won't let go, dancing slow. A head rests on a shoulder, a tempo loses its will, a hazy look finds a hazy face lost in a memory, or a fantasy, or a reality that may or may not exisist. Just moving back in forth, slow rocking through red shadows, eyes mist as they look away, holding close they won't let go, clutching together all they could find was each other in a great big world were so much can go so wrong, and for so long they were alone but on the floor they are home in pinkish fire, reddish desire, they have found a moment to own. The mist turns to rain, the memory is gone, the fantasy remains. Standing there on the empty dance floor, the spotlight finds him, highlighting that solitary figure, rocking slowly across the boards, dancing alone.
