Array ( [sid] => 86726 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Family Aspiration [time] => 2005-03-07 12:38:01 [hometext] => Dedicated to all aspiring families. Although we are not totally at this level, it is something to aspire to with these type of ingredients [bodytext] => The sacred heart that bonds
Our family of wives, children plus father and sons
Certainly a gift upon us bestowed
A loving unity exists which is a blessing to behold

In heart and spirit we bond together
According to God's plan of human endeavor
Sometimes love and caring are unspokon expressions
So that our hearts contain unexpressed confessions

Like a circle of angels holding hands
Can be broken only if one unclasps their hands
For in this grip held so tight there is a reflection
Of Holy connection with loving family affection

Thoughts, feelings and unspoken words of love and introspection
There for each other in time of need and connection
True loyalty and willingness to help and take heed
Forsaking our own being for the benefit of the others need

An interconnectedness, which gives a sense of belonginig
Which in turn satisfies our human longing
So never alone the bonded, are we
Which, under God's plan, is sanctified family

Sometimes conflict arrives when communication fails
But through love and perseverance our unity prevails
No holding grudges is allowed to persist
As forgiving is a hallmark upon which we insist

The pride I feel for my family
Is only bound by the humanness that limits me
I could reach out to each and every one
Who would respond in kind with their lovng expression

What more could I think to say
Except to tell them I love them all on this, my birthday
As we are children, wives, plus father and sons
Who together form our family constellation [comments] => 4 [counter] => 171 [topic] => 55 [informant] => Willofree [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )

Oh, this is gorgeous, I am very surprised that this has been commented on so little. This is truly a poem, just as you are truly a poet.

This is such a beautiful write my friend, and one of my faves.

Much love,
*hugs* Phil xxx
