When I was little i began a painting.
I used a little red, a tiny hint of passion,
Fire and bloodshed, heat and compassion.
A consumated factor, a heated reaction...and anger.
I used a little blue, to reach for the sky.
Before the day fades into night, the rain that So often does inspire.
Oceans, and seas, a stertch of transparency...
The limitless things promised, that we should aspire.
I used a little green, A little life, and a little death.
Both beautiful and sickly things, illness and peace and rest.
Nature and Nurture, jealousy and thought.
Beauty and creation, and after when things created rot.
I used a little Yellow, light and relaxation.
Energy and recovery, clear mindedness and elation.
Sunny summer joy, a golden times that were.
memories and mornings, soon to be a blur.
I used a lot of colors, adding in each one just right.
In all of the places I sall neccasary, along the course of life.
I added in some purple, for reaching all of my goals...
And a little orange, to remain healthy and whole...
I added in some earthy colors, so i'd ever remember who I am...
And lastly I added white, To always be everything I can...
And I mixed the colors through my life, so every day would be lit up...
With everything I needed, so I'd always have enough...
In the beginning I believed there was nothing there to
lack.
It wasn't till much later I realised All the colors mix to black.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
