a girl in the rain
stuck all alone
in the pouring rain
soaked from head to toe
with tears and rain
standing all alone
dwelling on her pain
heartache something new to her
forgotten her memory becomes a blur
she trys so hard to forget it
that night she stood alone
crying in the rain
dwelling on her pain
but then her fate
took a turn
even if a little late
she let it burn
the kiss he gave her
in the pouring rain
turns out she wasnt alone
standing in that rain
for that night two dwelled on thier pain
and he's left a mark on her heart, a stain
ever since he gave her
the unexpected kiss in the rain

when she was crying in the rain that night
he knew the time was right
he pulled her in his arms
standing in the rain
kissing away her pain.
