Array ( [sid] => 86597 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Good-bye, My baby, Good-bye. [time] => 2005-03-06 00:00:46 [hometext] => This idea just poped into my head...why I have no clue but yeah. No this didn't really happen to me because if it did I would be locked away somewhere not being able to write anything. [bodytext] => Lying in bed,
Listening to mommy and daddy fight.
Crying my sad prayer
To God above, to ending the screaming.

Dear Lord,
Why did mommy have to hate daddy so much?
Can't they just get along?
And why does daddy hit mommy when he gets mad?

I open my eyes, to realize the screaming has stopped,
and replaced by another noise - Lighting and rain.

Trying to sleep,
For hours.
Only getting scared by the silence,
Inside my house.

As I lay tossing and turning,
I realize someone has enter my room.
Scared I keep my eyes closed.
Listening for the stranger leave
Quietly shutting the door.

I turn over peeking out from the covers,
Gleam at my closed door.

I quickly rise from my bed
Running my way to mommy's safe and warm arms.

Walking into my safe haven,
Finding daddy lying on the floor,
Pale and lifeless.

As I walk over to daddy,
I realize this isn't some game,
Something just isn't right.

I climb on the bed to tell mommy,
Feeling her feet hit my head.
I look up and start to scream.

My sweet mommy,
Is hanging by the clinging fan.
Fear sweeps over my body,
Who is going to hold me tonight,
If the lights go out?

I jump down making my way back to daddy,
shaking him with all my might,
turning over his cold hand
touching his warm blood.

Tears now drown my face
I run back to my room,
Reaching my bed
Seeing what the stranger had come in my room for.
A white and bloody note
Lying on the corner of my bed

Dear Babygirl,
We’re sorry so sorry.
Love you forever,
Mommy and Daddy

Wow, so powerful of a write. I am glad this is not your story. But real it seemed. Sometimes we get ideas for stories we hear and put them into our own words. Truly powerful.
