Distance is like the devil
Once seeming close no matter how far we were
believing that there were seeds for growth
only to have it never rain
believing in only what we thought
now only what we see
How is it that with dreams of love
only emptieness is with me when i wake

this poem is really great! all of my poems are kind of like this! and i like how you compare yourself to different things!
