We’ll have to wait and see
Taking us and everything with it
Down to the bottom of the deepest sea
Our precious fields of pavement and concrete
Becoming ever more increasingly
Wet and Slippery
Soon our world will change drastically
Planet Earth will survive
But I cannot say the same for humanity
Not that I would want to anyway
But here is the main issue that troubles me
I know what you’re thinking, obviously
What the **** do you care
And you don’t
Because you know you won’t be a part of the tragedy
Only your child’s child
But that means nothing to you
Because for you the future does not exist
For you Today is your eternity
Meanwhile though your minds and lungs are filthy
So go on and keep inhaling your drug of choice
