as heat and pleasure rise from the swells
swells in the Sea and me.
I fed her a peach
fallen to the ocean floor
to be consumed by her children,
swarms of life
the start of the human race
on an island that greets this world
new on a daily basis.
She answers back
Roaring
and
Rising
as I watch Venus emerge from the foam
to blanket the land in all that is Green
from the hilltops
to the oceans toes.
Inside of me
the heat and thrill rise
to non-human heights
and I fall giddy to the ground
for I can not contain this power.
And like the Saints far before my time
become over whelmed with visions
Past
Present
and
what is to be.
I wake to find myself
drenched in her knowledge
soaked to the bone
surrounded by gifts,
shells and stones
from her mighty belly. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 162 [topic] => 55 [informant] => Nardo [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )
