[bodytext] => We both new that this day would come, The day when we say goodbye and go our separate ways. We come from complicated situations you and I. And in a sweet intermission between relationships and transition Our two lives shared the same place in time, and we found one another. But now we stand staring deeply into each other’s eyes, both knowing What must come next, but neither wanting to say it. I once read that many people believe; for every possible Outcome, there exists a world where that outcome is a reality… Meaning that somewhere, in some other parallel world We are together… and instead of parting on this day, We would be giving ourselves passionately to one another, Not for the last time but for the first time of an infinite number of times… We speak of the future… it is bright and full of possibilities, For in this world we are together. The thought courses throughout my being, As I kiss you for the last time, holding you tight in my arms, Whispering our goodbyes, we withdraw from each other And then separately walk away… Eternally together, yet parted forever. **Copyright 2005 Nefaria.com | Charles Hamilton [comments] => 1 [counter] => 158 [topic] => 48 [informant] => musashi [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )
