I wasn’t loved by my mum & dad,
I remember feeling like such an outcast,
I wished that the pain I felt wouldn’t last.

But unfortunatley it stayed with me for years,
Caused me to shed more than my fair share of tears,
The tears turned to self harm & drink,
It hurt me so much even to blink.

What did I do that was so wrong?
Why have I never felt like I belong?
I have paid for all that I have done,
For so long I lived without seeing the sun.

I can’t really look at my reflection,
As my heart will feel the sheer rejection,
I hate the person I am I really do,
It seems that hurt sticks to me like glue.

Pain & heartache follow me around,
Dashing my hope & love on the ground,
Am I a bad person who doesn’t deserve love & care?
All I want is for someone to be there.

Am I really that bad?
I wasn’t loved by my mum & dad,
I remember feeling like such an outcast,
I wished that the pain I felt wouldn’t last.

Don't ever let anyone put you down, you are so much better than they could ever be. We love you here, hun.
