[bodytext] => MY LOST ONE; where, and how, and what can I say as I humbly begin? My heart has thawed since that awful day I first fell into sin. What are the words that will comfort you, who once were part of me? How do I act to let you know that I can finally see? The mind-set that I had back then was selfish … and SO wrong. NOW, I recognize me for what I WAS NOT … I was not very strong. I grieve for what I was … as opposed to what I should have been, and have recurring nightmares of my life as it was then. I never saw you … but you knew me (and felt so safe within), and I who conceived that which was you let the cord go from my end. I felt your presence and it frightened me, and I blamed it all on you. Instead of joy, I felt panic (I did not know what to do). I recognized you for what you were … still, I felt alone. I thought only of my feelings. I was not prepared for the unknown. I made excuses. For many years I bore the burden of my sin. If I had one wish that could come true … I’d wish that I could start again. Forgive me (tiny part of yesterday) whom I have yet to see. The only thing that I seek now … is forgiveness … YOU to ME! “MOTHER! Nothing’s changed between the two of us because of yesterday. I just left your world a little earlier … and in a different way. My soul is safe within the arms of He who is always there for me within this paradise of love where you may one day be. I’ve always known the you that was … she, who had lost her way; and always I have been with you to help you through each day. There is nothing in the universe that we, together, can not face.
