I swallowed it as it is now swallowing me,
In the distance is a memory of ever being free,
Even with support I have failed,
As into my life depression has sailed.

& it doesn’t seem to be leaving my side,
Inside the pitch black I want to hide,
Never again to come out & face,
The thing that frightened me into this place.

Weakness is my middle name,
I am the loser in life’s little game,
Always piggy in the middle,
Never being able to make sense of the riddle,

Everyone just seems to pass me by,
Ignoring me even when I begin to cry,
I wanted to be strong for you I really did,
But into the depths of depression I have slid.

I can’t do it I’m not that strong,
I’ve been lying to myself for too long,
My insecurities have me beaten,

Oh dear girl, I can relate to this on more levels than you know. Each day the sun rises, the gloom in our soul makes the sun dim. But you are strong! I know you are! It seems people want to give up on us, but there is always,ALWAYS one person that hears our cries and wants to lift us out of the abyss. Embrace that thought of light and love, ever so slowly we see the light as it was meant to shine! Be strong! If you need to talk, you have my email. I am always open to you! 0:-)

you've expressed some really strong feelings in a really well wriiten poem, something i can relate to and understand fully.
