Special ones are opened to those not responsible for their fate
Premature deaths; the murdered and raped
Death before their first breathe
Life taken by simple mistakes
A child taken from us in the middle of the night
By disease; by starvation; by neglect.

Did you know that God had a plan
This I am told but can't understand
He gave us these beautiful gifts
Leaving us empty within
We are bereaved with our most precious losts
Asking him why it has to be
I think he took them; he needed them too

So through the special gates these babes will go
An eternity not filled with pain, sorrow, and hate
But eternal love and wonderment
We have not yet experienced at all
One day when you time has come
These perfected beings
Will greet and welcome you in.

So beautiful,
God does have a plan for us all and many of us never quite understand it. I don't understand his plan for me but I also do not question him.
This poem holds perfection just like a new born baby does.
