Who can't hear their music over hill and vale?
Who can know what strange words they say?
Moonshine on the scorched stones...
soothing the wound, with unfelt rain.

Time waits for none, they say.
Nay, it does...when truth calls out,
kingdoms bend and seasons change,
the moon shivers, the sun's gold fades,
the dreams of dreamers wake...
and the wings of many skies,
soar with the songs of the brave.

The hearts of tall mountains quake,
and the waters of many seas,
thirst for the songs of the saved.

Its powerful, but I saw the last line a little differently than what it was intended to resonate as.

Keep writing, Tanmaya.

A song of courage and magic this is. I've seldom read anything that inspires me as much as these poems of yours - that I can say with easy truthfulness.

I liked the last line especially. Neptune and I come from worlds that don't intersect all the time, perhaps (though I am glad when they do), for it resonated with me perfectly.

Keep this up, most definitely.

Day will come again.

Andrew

Beautiful. Your poems always leave me at a loss for words, right when I need them to comment. Well written.
Take care.
David
