Where no one can find them
Feelings locked into my chest
Where no one can see them.

My private worries,
My secret loves
My haunted nightmares,
My unknown lies
All hidden away
Never to be seen or heard.

From the farthest stranger
To the closest friend
Theres not a single person
Who knows everything.

My private worries,
My secret loves,
My haunted nightmares,
My unknown lies.
All hidden away
Never to be seen or heard.

Sitting in a room all alone
Wishing that just once
There is someone out there
Who knows the real me.

My private worries,
My secret loves,
My haunted nightmares,
My unknown lies.
All hidden away
Never to be seen or heard. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 156 [topic] => 32 [informant] => Live2Die [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

I can relate to this...
I have found though that if you dont open up people will never learn who the real you is.
But first you need to eastablish who the real you is for yourself.

i think every one feels this way at some point in their lifes....

This had a real nice flow to it and I found it enjoyable to read even with the sadness it holds. *hugs you*

Good luck with your future writes

Gen x

This one's great! I feel just the same way... And this poem beautifully expresses it. One of your better ones, and that says a lot.
