A Third Chance?

I didn't know, you didn't know
we felt so close
but it was never spoken
like the tragic story of a
Romeo and Juliet.
Second chances came to us
but not acted upon
the slowly faded
as obstacles came to view.
Is it over now...again?
Are the feelings gone
or just unspoken
We found we were not so unalike
But will there be another
chance to act upon
are there such a thing as
third chances?
