[title] => That Day That Came
[time] => 2005-02-28 16:54:00
[hometext] => This poem was the first poem that i wrote and actually finished i started it before 9/11 and when 9/11 happened it sort of fit rite in so i was able to complete it and is now one of my best poems that im really proud of.
[bodytext] => That day that came we will never forget. That day that came left us with nothing to say. Our hearts were broken when some spent that last token and never returned when the twin towers burned. Only God could know what ourhearts felt. We knew we had to let go. We fixed our belts and walked away without knowing what to say, about that day that came. That day that took our loved ones away. They have left us in shock, our hearts heavy as rocks. We will always remember that day that came too soon. That dreadful Tuesday afternoon when we were hoping to see our loved ones walk through the door so we could say how much we loved them and thank God they were o.k. But they never came. Our tears were our words and that day changed our world. Now all people can say is, God Bless New York! God Bless America!
