Gleaming tears stream
Down the reflected image
That is fragmented with sin

All of her beloved dreams
Appear in a nightmare's visage
With every self destructive whim

Her dreams are my nightmares that I wake up in
And reality reflects the constant message
That nothing is as it seems

Because dreams never come true

Nightmares Shrouded in Truth

Gleaming tears stream
Down the reflected image
That is fragmented with sin

All of her beloved dreams
Appear in a nightmare's visage
With every self destructive whim

Her dreams are my nightmares that I wake up in
And reality reflects the constant message
That nothing is as it seems

Because dreams never come true
But fears always do

but fears always do" what a way to end....so .....awsome...loved this poem...you have true talent.

I believe I have been there as well and at the time I saw them as one and the same...nightmares are truth.

Thanks for the reminder and unexpected change in my perspective. Good work, keep digging.

I liked your poem for one reason. Passion. I felt it and therefore, your poem came alive. I could see through your eyes like it was meant to be written. Thank you for the poem. I am not a poet, but I do understand through the words written.

Nice very nice indeed, yet I believe dreams can come true if we try hard enough. Don't give up on them. Awesome write.
