Could I?
Would?
The confusion races through your head
You woke up again this morning alive
unforutnetly
You are always depressed
when will it end?
All the suffering, pain and tourture
It just won't go away
that feeling
that distinct feeling
That there will be no tomorrow
so again you trudge through the day
smiling that fake smile
flexing that fake strength
holding back those tears
you are so alone
just trying to yell for help
but you just can't find the words
You sit alone at home now
and begin to cry
Then you bring the knife to your wrist
This is your relief
your unknown pain relief
that no one can ever know
The cold steel slices
The Rush
oh you feel so much
you feel strangely better
like everything else was ok
but the feeling quickly fades
so you slit again
and again
and again
and again
Then you look and see
what you've done
and the self-hate returns
so you grab the pills
one swallow, two swallow
three, four, five....
until the room begins to spin
Questions race through your head
'Should I?'
Thoughts race through your head
'I'm hurting people who love me!'
The hesitation
'I HAVE TO STOP!'
but its now too late
slowly the world fades
so you were right
there was no tomorrow
