And turned It Into your on sick lust
You darn well knew I was only eight
So how could you do that for heaven's sake

That night you waited till everyone was asleep
Then took away all of my belief
You told me to be queit, that eveyrthing would be ok
But little did I know the pain that was heading my way

That night you told me never to tell
Or else things for me would not go well
From that day on I still see in my sight
The horrible thing that you did to me that night

Im now 15 and I still keep inside

This is so sad... The poem had a good flow and the message is very clear. It left me so disturbed I didn't know what to write. I hope that, if this is true, you don't hide this thing or it will get complicated. I had a friend who experienced this... If you need to talk, don't hesitate.

seven years of silent hell. why would you want that, is a question that should be asked of the creature that would put a child through such agony. we had a 4yo brutalized near here and my mind still can't figure out why. i wrote 'a palette of pain' to help me understand but it didn't. i'm not sure if i really want to.
i'm so sorry for your pain. be well.
thanks for sharing

I've had the same experience. It happened to me when I was eight, I told when I was thriteen. I started to run away and do drugs to help me forget. It only made my pain and troubles worse. I was gone from my house for three years. I'm sixteen now. No one believed me and it hurt, but I feel better now and "right" with myself because I got it off my chest. So what if no one believed me. I know the truth and judgement day will come for that person. Keep your head held high and stay strong. I'm here if you need to talk.

A very sad subject and one that too often is hidden as well. Your poem is good, it makes me feel sad and that is good because poetry is supposed to make you feel or see or hear...when poetry touches your senses, it has been written well. Keep sharing and thanks for the write.
