what I have become
I don't deserve to be called by my name
Such an awful something of nothing
I have become

I have become an ex-dreamer
not one more great thought
in this head of mine.
It's the awful something of nothing
that I have become. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 165 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Sk8ergrl_911 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Hmmm... It was short but good. I don't think i quite get your point. Perhaps you could talk to me about it and help me understand it better.

ah, but tommorow is another day and with the dawn comes another chance...a chance to dream once more, a chance to be what the dreams claim for you!
a certain beautiful songstress said it so succinctly, 'catch your breath and choose your moment'
just needs a little polish and maybe another stanza(to explain why you're so down on yourself - life, losing your muse, or something more sinister).
thanks for sharing

Well see it's supposed to confuse you just a bit, to leave you wondering........no I don't know. I'll explain it i didnt' explain it very well so I'll try to do that later.

i liek this poem. it had a little twist in it how it does in fact leave you wondering.
this way i did find it more easy to relate to in such a way that the reader can take your words and put them to a situation of that in their own lives. most poetry explains how you feel to get out your emotions and others are used to inspire, but this poem i find very unique in which it really leaves you wondering and questioning. i liked this a lot and i think the other ppl who posted comments on this should read it again with an open mind, not searching for the true meaning of the poem. i loved this. great job
