I was truly the Mistress of the art of words then…

A quiet shadow near the corner of my mind,
Desolate, mysterious, obscure…
Just one word has left my hand shivering,
My pen abandoned and crying ebony tears…
A single syllable has left me trembling,
Yearning for a love that is forbidden…
And my heart aches, weeping for a healing caress,
To feel the touch of love that had been deprived of me so long ago…

I try again,
Recreating the images my lovely Luna had sacrificed for me…
But everything links to you…
All there is…is you…

The quill falls powerless from my shuddering hands,
Your name as text, a bittersweet hymn to my tattered heart…
And I, once the great weaver of beautiful expressions,
Have become a useless poetess with only silence for words…

For they could never fully describe… the beauty and perfection…that is you… [comments] => 4 [counter] => 206 [topic] => 2 [informant] => FleurdeSang [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 20 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

Time will bring them out in force ... you will see ... they need resting and regrouping periods ... time to focus to develop clarity, altered stated of awareness ... they will be there ... give them time.

Fabulous Stephy ~ and far, far from useless.

This is so powerful, so full of emotion. I can not convey how much I liked this piece.
Somehow I doubt your words could EVER be described as useless. I look forward to reading your other works, as I have it on good authority from Nazzy that you're one of the best. :-)

You could make a wilted flower turn in to a rose so beautiful. The magnificent way you have with expression of words.

Fantastic
