I place my trust in your hands To watch it be crumpled and torn Before I knew it, I gave you my heart And like my trust, it was mutilated to strands I should've known you couldn't comprehend My mind, my heart, and my soul I kneel to pick up the pieces Of my heart that once was whole Should I put my trust in another? Does someone out there deserve my heart? Will they act like all the others?
