and it seemed so real to me.
It was perfect, it felt right,
it was exactly what I wanted it to be.

You came running out your door,
and jumped into my waiting embrace.
I couldn't of asked for more,
to be reunited with your precious face.

We rolled around in the grass enjoying an overdue kiss,
and at the point everything else was gone.
The whole world vanished, caused by our state of bliss,
it was just you and I, and your front lawn.

When the world returned we went inside,
and started talking to your mom and dad.
your dad talked and your mom cried,
losing their little girl was really sad.

I promised them you would be fine,
and that I would take good care of you.
I said that this was lifes design,
and that this was what we were supposed to do.

We started putting your things into my back seat,
our two seperate lives was now our life.
I think life intended us to meet,
always meant to be man and wife.

It skipped the drive out west,
and went straight to moving in.
We finally settled into our nest,
time for real life to begin.

At that point I woke up from my sleep,
knew right away the message this dream was trying to send.
With that thought I began to weep,
I didn't want that dream to ever end.
