Array ( [sid] => 85302 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Need You Here [time] => 2005-02-22 15:12:21 [hometext] => this is a poem i just wroet about how my grandma is goign through lung cancer right now and her chances of living are slim to none.... [bodytext] => I remember when i was younger, you helped me become what i am today.
With your help whenever i needed it, i love you in such a special way.

Going through pictures now, it really makes me think.
Of just how much i need you, i need you to help me blink.

I have been praying for you day and night, wishing that you would get better.
I went through that all with grandpa, so depressed after we got that letter.

At this point in time, i don't need this in my life.
I have a pain in my heart, like i'm getting stabbed with a dull knife.

But grandma we don't want you to suffer, but we don't want you to die.
Just remember you were like my mother, when you're gone how hard i'll cry.

You have helped me get through some really tough times, and i really need you here.
I've dreamed about this day before, i've seen the burning tears.

I can't tell you enough how much love that i have for you.
WIthout you here through all these years i would feel so blue.

I'll never forget all the things you taught me, i'll keep that in my heart.
When you are gone yet in my mind, my feelings will be torn apart.

You always say that i shouldn't cry, when you leave this earth.
But how could i do that Grandma, you've been here since my birth.

It almost feels like you're gone, but you're still here.
When i hug you you're barley there, i want to have you near.

I love you so much grandma, and mom you know who this is to.
Grandma i want to let you know, that i dedicate this to you.

with much love....~Kay-Kay [comments] => 1 [counter] => 151 [topic] => 32 [informant] => Kay-Kay [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )
