I've seen your face
I want so desperately
To feel you
And your sweet embrace
Why did you leave me?
You left with no goodbyes
I remember the night of
November twenty-third
The police officer told me
As I stood on the curb
He said he took his own life
Not another word
Blankly I stared
Into the damp dark night
All i felt was anger and fright
The sign on the corner
Help me up
The tears flowed
From my eyes
In a downpour of disbelief
Thoughts racing through my head
Is this my fault?
Could I have saved my one true love?
The day we met
I swear I'll never forget
Our first kiss
Was pure and total bliss
The day you uttered
"I love you Les"
Will forever be in my dreams
I love you Rob
I still can't believe
That you
My baby are

A friend of mine took his life on my daughters 12th birthday ... our relationship was not the same as yours ... but I so understand the confusions and queastions and wondering why he never said anything about what was driving him to such a dark place ... you address them well Leslie.

Nazmythian ~
