The faces of God pass by my window
I see them in all their glory
So many of them seem unaware
So broken, and not at all holy

A few have reached truth and gone beyond
Full of pride they strut about
Others unsure, turn downward their heads
Tormented by questions and self-doubt

I want to cry out - to each face I see
I want to touch their souls to mine
I long to share with those around
We all can be - divine

I look out my window, and the world spins
The faces each moment are new
I press my face upon the glass
Always looking, always missing, you

Carol

I cannot begin to touch the depth of this write. I was captivated immediately by the flow. i could say good write but it would be a wast of a compliment for this peice. brilliant work is that unlike any other, it is the individualistic interpretation of emotion and judging by this write you've got it mastered.

~I left you weeping for me, i'll always be the one plunging off the bridge toward eternity.~weepingprophet

This gives me so many different places to go. I'm not sure what your theology is, but I do like this write.
