Is the me from the past
Only looking to play and to bask

Somehow the time went
And I grew more mature
And all the nights spent
Finding answers upon answers for sure

Dependence and Ignorance
Have somehow been lost
Deep inside I found the courage
And the path of growing up was crossed

Before I knew nothing
Of life and of love
And I was merely bluffing
If I said I'd been through enough

Sometimes I miss the old me
As I know you do, too
The me that was naive
And never knew the truth... [comments] => 2 [counter] => 233 [topic] => 48 [informant] => dreamer_for_eternity [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

very true i think we all miss those days where there wasnt a care in the world and where we knew what we were told was right and if told not was wrong i know i miss those times it seems so much harder to make decisions once you cross that line every and it seems moral is blurred
