[hometext] => this poem is mostly about my people and how we are not living the life we should live..so go a head make coments and suggestions please.
[bodytext] => Time we look back and do something For our lives and children’s to change Hoping and wishing for those better days Here looking around my family is all deceased Sitting down with my friends crying out please Looking around for someone to help me retrieve Back all my memories and cure this disease isalamic is what they want me to believe Time we look back and do something For our lives and children’s to change Hoping and wishing for those better days But here they tell me a bullet in a head is What I will get. But my faith got strengthen And I will never let them see me sweat Time we look back and do something For our lives and children’s to change Hoping and wishing for those better days I turn to the human rights and made a call Hoping that I would be having it all But oh lord how? When my enemies Are preying to you for my downfall Time we look back and do something For our lives and children’s to change Hoping and wishing for those better days My neighbor called me and wishes me well But down in my heart I know they wish me hell My friends and family are locked up in jail And this judge set this unpaid able bail Time we look back and do something For our lives and children’s to change Hoping and wishing for those better days Oh heavenly lord look down upon me And unleashed this chains and set me free And let me hear you say I deserve this liberty For it is what runs in our arteries Time we look back and do something For our lives and children’s to change Hoping and wishing for those better days Copyright ©2004 JOHN MAKUER [comments] => 2 [counter] => 199 [topic] => 19 [informant] => jmakuer [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => InspirationalPoems )
