that I have sailed to with you.
Out of touch from my pleasures
have no effect on your feelings or cares,
trying to find my place
in this off set of what used to be.
To keep my mind busy and body moving
is like fishing in a dried out ocean.
I try to find a source of income
but with no avail,
times are tough in the land of "freedom".
My heart dies with each day,
as each day brings me nothing
and I continue to fight against this loneliness,
against this failure I feel I am.
I can't stand it here, in this wretched house.
These doorways are nothing more than
portholes to Hell,
a place to die and no one knows.
Where sun bleached bones lie in fields of dreams,
is this to be my future resting place?
You do not see my sorrow,
as I see you wrapped up in sheets.
You do not see as I try,
try to help myself without asking of you,
and I see you wrapped up in sheets.
I don't want pity,
I don't want fighting,
I just want it all to end
and to relieve myself of the pressures
of this wretched house. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 198 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Nardo [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Wonderful creation of images throughout this piece! I can tell you have a lot of emotions twined within these lines. That makes it all the more interesting to read, like a small peek inside of your mind.
