I see myself falling

To pieces everyday

Looking for the love

That I let slip away

Knowing she is happy

Should ease my troubled mind

But can I ever replace

The love she left behind

The only love I have felt

In my many years

Was taken by my pride

And drown in my tears

She gave me everything

In which I desired

But I threw it all away

But still feel her fire

I ran away with fear

I ran from her love

Now she is on my mind

She is all I think of

But that was years ago

And the only love I’ve felt

She showed me true love

And these cards I have dealt

I will never know her love again

Though through her I have found

Many things in my life and

That true love is around

I thank her in my mind

And glad that we had met

For love is reality

And my life is set

I am happier for her

Than I have ever felt for myself

I’m glad I can talk to her

That is such a help

I know what I need now

And that is what I will find

If it takes my lifetime

I will never say I didn’t try

Do I still love her

Yes I always will

I take so much for granted

In all that I do

But one thing I can depend on

Is my everlasting memory of you

Though you may never read this

And that would be fine

I know deep in my heart

You’re the greatest find

I thank you for everything

For the love you once gave

For showing me the light

My life won’t ever be the same

Thank you in my mind

And thank you in my dreams

But most of all I thank you

For being a friend to me

I see myself falling

I know what you're goin through, I let my love slip away too....There isn't anything I wouldn't to have her back. Hang in there buddy, excellent write :)
