Array ( [sid] => 84549 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => An angels call [time] => 2005-02-15 17:26:03 [hometext] => To all my angels, Nora, Jarred, Scott, Stitch, Snemmy, Emily, Andrew, Krissie, Phil, Jules, Kiela, Katy, Joni, Orph, Chelsea and everyone else I have met and have yet to meet (I haven't forgotten you) Thankyou for all your words. I love you. [bodytext] => The angles they will call me,
On the winds of newborn spring,
Softly singing words of truth,
To hear, to know, to be.
And my breath will catch within my chest,
As I know these words are true,
Then I will become the one who's singing,
To spread the words to you.

And contented I will continue,
And no pain will bar my path,
Because I know that things are better now,
Than they have been in the past,
And the words I hear will sooth me,
And now they may sooth you,
As I sing the words the angels told me,
The words of naught but truth.

Now just let them seep into you,
Like water turns the sand to clay,
And let the words become you,
Then slowly sing yourself away.
Away with all the angels,
Who sing to you their lullabyes,
The words I will not place here,
But know they guide my life.

Thankyou all my angels,
For everytime you heard my cries,
And sang to me your answers,
The ones I could not seem to find.
I love you all, dear angels,
You guide me on the way,
Without your song I could not sing,
To all those here today.

I won't forget you now my angels..
I will still watch for your wings...
For you will be here in my heart,
And I will always sing...

I'd have to say this among your best, of coarse poetry with a purpose is always the best.

Phil ... that is fabulous. I am humbled to be included in that list of incredible individuals. I am deeply touched by the words and the sentiment. I could sing this still ... the melody is there in my head ... that doesn't often happen with me when reading the works of others. You struck a deep resonant chord with this one.

Yes, fabulous, but more than just an incredible write, it's full of the incredible YOU that has always been there waiting to come out. I am honored to be a part of your life, honored to be mentioned here, and honored (most of all) by what you have done for me in your loyal friendship.
Love you,
Stitch

Well, Phil, this is beautiful. And I thank you very, very much for the inclusion of my name in such an honor. You know it's not often I, or many people, find a friend good enough to value my words and beliefs so much, and I really appreciate it, and hope that I might come close to deserving it, as we all I hope journey on to better hearts and greater wisdom.

God bless.
Andrew
