Array ( [sid] => 84465 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => I Can’t Believe It [time] => 2005-02-14 22:27:04 [hometext] => This poem if one that I wrote when Josh was doing drugs and those types of things, since then he has stopped though. According to him this poem is a constant reminder of what he was doing to himself. [bodytext] => Graduation day and I’m in tears,
I’m wearing his class ring.
A moment of silence to remember,
I wish that he were here.
I was always scared he would die,
He promised he would quit.
But I never pressured him,
And he never stopped.
That one say and night,
I remember it so clearly.
The phone call that I got,
They said he had an accident.
He took too many pills,
Smoked too much pot,
Drank too many beers,
And then decided to drive.
On his way to pick me up,
He promised to be careful.
“I love you” last thing I heard him say,
I couldn’t wait to see him.
I cried for so many months.
I can’t believe he’s really gone.
I will join him up above someday,
For now I hope he is watching me. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 265 [topic] => 66 [informant] => perfection [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => drugabuse )
