Dare them to crush
my heart that's binding.
It pines and binds me to this earth,
when my mind is set
to deliver me to death.
I challenge the coming car,
"Hit me, I dare you.
Let's see what happens pussy!"
Remembering as I stand,
all my colors turned to gray,
running smeared,
away in torrents of blood and misery.
Flowing,
with regrets, my worries,
distorted pasts and truths.
I dart across the road and I feel my body crumble
from the weight of all my tears,
which come quickly pouring out.
My misery cripples me there,
lying as I cry tears that know no end.
All I can fathom is the emptiness growing
to replace my running tears.
I crawl away,
dazed and broken,
gone to live another lie. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 185 [topic] => 61 [informant] => WorthlesSanity666 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => selfstruggles )
