I know what I want to say But the line, I’ll have passed I want to say I love you, I know it’s unaccepted Opportunity has been too few And now, I’m rejected Card and flowers, I’ve received But I know it’s a lie The office help’s deceived I just want to cry I want to be wanted It’s too much to suggest? I’ve been discarded Emotion’s too high a request I love you for your virtue And your point of view You are far from shallow I know of your value Why is it that you search for more? When in truth, it’s really less What is it the heart is for, If not love, to profess?
