Fog is in my staircase,
So I can't see a think,
It is full or nails and shattered glass,
So I always cut myself.
Dead ends are everywhere,
So sometimes I have to go back,
And there is oil on my staircase,
So I slip and have to retrace my steps.
Sometimes I want to sit down,
Give up and never go on,
It is these times I need help the most,
And every time someone comes along.
They are angels,
And the always encourage me to go on.

So when you want to give up,
Because your life is cold and blue,
Just remember,
If you put your trust in God,
He will always be there for you.

My Life is like a staircase,
It is full or twists and turns,
Always wondering, never knowing,
What is around each bend,
Fog is in my staircase,
So I can't see a think,
It is full or nails and shattered glass,
So I always cut myself.

And there is oil on my staircase,
