With no kindred sprit.
Living alone,
Not proud to admit it.
Looking for love,
A soul mate,
One to spend my life with.
I look too hard.
To close and to far,
And there is no rest,
For this lonely heart.
My eyes are wide open.
My heart is kind.
My mind holds truths,
And my tongue speaks rhymes.
My soul is gods,
But my love can be yours.
Whoever you are,
I await
With open arms. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 177 [topic] => 14 [informant] => Klirai [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DreamsandWishes )

This one goes deep. A sentiment too close to not touch the reader's heart.

i like your poem very much.. here are a few thoughts i had.. if your soul belongs to God, then why shouldnt your love? he gives you life through Jesus Christ, is that not enough to earn it? the two greatest commandments are these.. first, love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. and the second is like it.. love your neigbour as you love yourself. this sums up Gods perfect law, for love is the fufillment of the law. we love because he first loved us... his love is perfect, as he proved through the forgivness of sins, paying the price with the blood of Jesus. so.. take heart! he is always with you, and he knows your desires, he will bring you the right mate in his time... but until then, be content in him, there is no hurry to those who live in eternity!

shalom,
joshua
