[bodytext] => They came across those mountains, 250 years ago. They fought back the forest, the indians, and the cold. to raise up their crops, and families, here we know. On this old place we call, iron mountain road. Iron mountain road, well it is just three miles long. Our families lived here, before this nation was born. They were not rich or famous, just common folks you know. Those folks who settled here, on iron mountain road. My best freind still lives there,on Iron mountain road. In fifty years, he's never been far, from that farm that he loves so. I've travelled all around this world, seen places, I never thought i'd go. But none of those have touched my heart, like Iron mountain road. Iron mountain road, is the anchor in my life. I walk its lanes, in my dreams, every night. And when this old world causes my heart to turn sad and cold. I let my mind wander, through the dust on, Iron mountain road When im finished with my life, in this old world down here below. And they lay me in the ground, beside those who passed, so long ago. And after I meet my saviour, In heaven to where I go. I hope he lets me live there on. IRON MOUNTAIN ROAD!
