The mirror twists reflections
And wrong impressions

You are seen
As you want to be
Nonexistent

Perfection is refracted
And misconception is contracted

I'm blinded unable to see
What the mirror has twisted
In my appearance

Because I see with my mind's eye
And perspective can be contradicted

The truth is never seen
It's believed by the ignorant

But what you see are the lies
And all of your pathetic tries
Twisted to what you want them to be
Never again seen

But because of that fact
Perfection is never refracted
As blood seeps through the cracks

Of the shattered reflection
But correct impression [comments] => 6 [counter] => 152 [topic] => 13 [informant] => essentially9 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

This was an exciting, heart-wrenching poem. Felt twisted by the words. Good job!
