They all think im going to sleep
I am going to sleep but it’s a dark slumber so deep
No it wont be tonight, but I’m sure one day I will
Like normal ill climb into bed and take those pretty pills
One day when I go to bed, I won’t wake up again
My eyes will close forever and my peace shall never wane
With my head upon the pillow, ill fall asleep one last time
Being alone and in the dark will never feel so fine
I’ll be warm on the night I finally let go
When I pass away quietly and rest is all I know
This is how it will be as I happily run for the light
But just before I do like usual
I’ll say “Goodnight”

“Goodnight everyone”…I say
They all think im going to sleep
