Skin became as ice
One gaze chilled the heart and bone
Your eyes melted me
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fire deep within
Ravaged long controlling hold
Spirit was released
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Taken from dark dreams
Thrust into this world of life
You became my guide
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Feather touch of breath
Filled lungs long deprived of air
Made me come alive
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bathing arid flesh
Rain fell from concern filled eyes
Watering feelings
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Emotions released
From encapsulating stone
Senses now reeling
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Overwhelming odds
Separated souls unite
Mated once again
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Trusting life to fate
Destiny revealed in time
Unconcerned with when
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lost for ages past
Knowing now where I belong
Salvation replete
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Love has been restored
Crossing planes of existence
Journey is complete
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Authors note: I tried my first Haiku a little over two weeks ago ...
Jules, this was certainly a challenge. I loved it. Thank You

Woah Nazzy...
These are fantastic.
And yeah, one of the things I do love is that they can be a whole poem as well as 10 haiku.

Stunning write my friend,
